Candidates who were interviewed at the Dar es Salaam Police Academy (DPA) and other units under Police Headquarters are required to report to the Dar es Salaam Police Barracks on Kilwa Road near the Police Hospital at 12:00 PM on September 30, 2024, for transport arrangements to Moshi.

Candidates from other regions of Tanzania should report to their respective regional Police Commanders at 8:00 AM on September 29, 2024, for further instructions on travel to the Police Training School in Moshi. Those who were interviewed in Zanzibar (Unguja and Pemba) must report to the Police Headquarters in Zanzibar (Ziwani) on the same day to arrange their journey.

Items Required for Training

Selected candidates are expected to bring the following items when reporting to the Police Training School in Moshi:

  1. Blue track suit with a white stripe, white t-shirt (without logos), black sports shoes, two pairs of blue shorts for sports, and a blue metal trunk.
  2. White round mosquito net, two pairs of light blue bed sheets, a grey blanket (plain, not a duvet), and a charcoal iron.
  3. Cleaning supplies including a rake, hoe with handle, machete, two small buckets, and a broom.
  4. Health insurance card (NHIF) or cash of Tsh 50,400 for those without insurance.
  5. Original academic certificates, birth certificate, National Identification (NIDA) card or NIDA number, and NIDA cards/numbers of close relatives from both parents’ sides (such as uncles, aunts, grandparents). Bring six passport-size photos with a blue background and five copies of each document.
  6. Personal allowance money for daily needs during training.

Important Restrictions and Deadlines

It is important to note that mobile phones are strictly prohibited during the training. Candidates found with mobile phones will face disciplinary actions, including immediate dismissal. Additionally, anyone who reports after October 2, 2024, will not be admitted to the training program.
